BANGKOK, 20 October 2026 — Omise, a leading financial infrastructure and technology provider in Southeast Asia and Japan, today announced the official launch of “Mirai Flash,” the first desktop AI coworker platform developed under Mirai, an AI venture by Omise. Built to address the fragmented digital workplace, where information and work are scattered across disconnected platforms and teams, Mirai Flash unifies everyday business tools and specialized internal systems, enabling teams to execute daily tasks through a single conversational interface, with administrator-controlled access and a commitment to keeping customer data out of AI model training. Alongside the product launch, Omise also unveiled “Omise AI Service,” a dedicated enterprise consulting division designed to architect and implement bespoke AI infrastructure for modern organizations.

Yusuke Tomimoto, Group Chairman of Omise, highlighted the regional vision: “Throughout our journey, Omise has been committed to bringing transformative technologies to businesses across Asia. The launch of the Mirai brand and Mirai Flash marks a pivotal strategic milestone for our group. Our mission extends beyond payment infrastructure—we are actively harnessing applied AI to strengthen enterprise agility, solve systemic productivity bottlenecks, and elevate operational competitiveness across the region.”

Jun Hasegawa, Founder & CEO of Omise, shared the origin story and impact of the platform: “Mirai was not created to compete in the race for raw AI foundation models. It was born out of real operational friction inside our own walls. We recognized that the fundamental barrier for modern teams isn't a lack of tools, but tool fragmentation—employees losing hours switching between disconnected apps, databases, and spreadsheets. We engineered Mirai Flash to solve this internally, and it has already saved our teams more than 100 hours since our internal rollout. Mirai Flash condenses complex, multi-system workflows that previously took days or hours into seamless, conversational actions executed in minutes.”

Mirai Flash is engineered as an intelligent desktop application for macOS and Windows, built from the ground up on four core enterprise pillars:

  1. Custom Software Integration Support for Enterprise: Mirai Flash connects to everyday business tools and data sources such as Slack, Jira, Google Workspace, BigQuery and BambooHR through Model Context Protocol (MCP), the open standard for linking AI applications to external tools and data. For enterprise customers, it also connects to specialized internal and local systems through custom-built integrations, so teams can pull real-time data, and automate cross-platform handoffs within a single window.
  2. Tailored Modes for Every Team: Adapts to the specific workflows and contexts of distinct organizational functions—including Customer Support, Finance & Accounting, Legal, HR, Sales & Partnerships, Product Development, and Executive leadership.
  3. Administrator-Controlled Governance: The organization retains complete control. IT administrators determine exactly which tools Mirai Flash can access, define permissible actions, and enforce organizational policies with granular permission toggles.
  4. Enterprise Security & Data Protection: Under the agreements in place with model providers, customer content is not used to train AI models. Credentials and access keys are stored encrypted on the device.

Furthermore, Mirai Flash is Model Agnostic, offering users the agility to switch seamlessly between leading frontier AI models (including GPT-5, Claude Opus 5, and Gemini). The platform also incorporates AI Adoption Tools, leveraging gamified challenges and leaderboards to foster healthy, organization-wide AI literacy and daily utilization.

Addressing the broader enterprise market, Peter S Pornprayuth, Vice President of Global Sales and Partnership at Omise, concluded: “In enterprise reality, there is no one-size-fits-all AI solution. Workflows, legacy infrastructures, and compliance requirements vary widely across industries. While Mirai Flash serves as a powerful productivity hub, Omise AI Service brings our dedicated engineering and consulting teams directly to enterprise partners—co-designing, integrating, and deploying custom AI ecosystems tailored to their unique architecture safely, seamlessly, and with measurable ROI.”

Mirai Flash is available for macOS and Windows starting today. The first 100 users can download and sign up at https://mirai.omise.co/ to get started.
