Which type of service does Omise consider as digital content?
Last updated on June 10, 2021The Omise transaction fee for accepting payments through TrueMoney Wallet and Rabbit LINE Pay for businesses selling digital content varies from other business types. Merchants selling digital content are charged 10% per transaction (exclusive of VAT).
When accepting TrueMoney Wallet, digital content refers to the following businesses.
- Any gaming software sold on the internet (except for software sold in the form of a physical package such as CD, DVD or Blu-ray)
- Any downloadable content used for gaming software (such as expansion packs, maps, etc.)
- Digital and/or intangible goods sold in online games through online platforms, also called in-game goods
- Entertainment services in relation to motion pictures, music, games or broadcasting through the network system. This includes streaming services.
- E-books sold on the internet
- E-learning courses sold on the internet (except for software sold in the form of a physical package, such as CD, DVD or Blu-ray)
- Cash card or top-up card for gaming
When accepting Rabbit LINE Pay, digital content refers to the following businesses.
- Any gaming software (copyrights) sold on the internet (except for software sold in the form of a physical package such as CD, DVD, Blu-Ray)
- Any downloadable content used for gaming software (such as expansion packs, maps, etc.)
- Digital and/or intangible goods sold in online games through online platforms, also called in-game goods
- Cash card or top-up card for gaming
